Northwest Sound was proud to send our youth chorus, Emerald City Sound, to the Barbershop Harmony Society Youth Chorus Festival in Reno, Nevada. Under the direction of Travis Tabares, the guys rocked the stage , receiving an OUTSTANDING rating for their performances of Nearer My God to Thee, Tomorrow is Promised to No One, and Everything. Great work guys! They traveled by air and by land to get there, including a group that rented a car and drove all night in order to accomodate work and school schedules. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate, with snow starting as they were homeward bound. They were forced to turn around and book flights to get back home, but they arrived safe and sound.
