Brady Anderson

Brady Anderson was born in Fort Worth, TX, and raised in nearby Mansfield. He studied music from childhood, including being involved in church and school choirs, and playing piano, violin, and trombone. After graduating from Mansfield High School in 1994, he attended East Texas Baptist University, in Marshall, TX, majoring in All-Level Music Education, with a Concentration in Voice. Brady received his Bachelor of Music degree in 1999, so he moved back to the DFW metroplex to teach choir. While at ETBU, he met his wife, Jennifer, with whom they’ve had 2 children, Caleb in 1997, and Joshua in 2001. Unfortunately Caleb passed away from brain cancer in 2006.

After one year of teaching choir, Brady was offered an opportunity to work in the corporate world, and seized that opportunity. He began his career in advertising sales and operations. Since then, he has held various sales and marketing positions, mostly relating to advertising or B2B technology. Of course, Brady did not lose his interest in music, especially singing, during this time. He sang with a classical choral group called Schola Cantorum until 2004, when he decided to audition for The Vocal Majority, which is the Dallas Metro Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society and one of the best choruses in the world. He won an International Gold Medal with VM in 2006 in Indianapolis singing Lead.

In 2008, Brady and his family felt a call to move to Seattle to help start a new church. Although they aren’t on staff, Brady and his family helped with logistics, spiritual leadership, childcare, etc. They remain with that church, LifePoint Church in Lynnwood, to this day. Shortly after moving to WA, Brady sought out a chorus to join in the area, and was pleased to find Northwest Sound Men’s Chorus. Later Brady also joined Northwest Vocal Project, and has sung in two quartets, Jigsaw and Contraband. He was elected as the Public Relations Officer of Northwest Sound for 2015.

In addition to singing, Brady also enjoys golf, poker, theater, and an occasional cigar. He is also a political junkie. He currently works in the Automobile Marketing industry, but has his eyes open for other opportunities.
